Lizi looking depressed about the weather

Yesterday, our third day into the trip, we decided to bike from Thompson Falls, MT to Sandpoint, ID. This was an 85 mile long journey. The weather did not cooperate and eventually we had to stop at a laundromat to dry out our wet clothing.

There are some good things about biking 85 miles: We are that much closer to Bellingham, and we slept exceptionally well even though our sleeping bags and tent were very wet. That is it! Everything else about biking that far on our third day of the trip was pretty much awful. With that being said, we have now decided to take three weeks to get to Bellingham, instead of two, so we can actually enjoy our bike tour!

  1. Lizi may look unhappy...but is that a cookie that she is eating?

  2. I'll ride through rain, snow, sleet, hail, cats and dogs...as long as I can eat cookies the whole way.
